The San Vicente business incubator, just over 50% of its capacity

The occupation of the Business incubator of the Canastell industrial estate in San Vicente del Raspeig it barely exceeds half its capacity to host activity. Nowadays 4 of the 7 ships others are available and free 3 of the 6 existing premises as reported by the Popular group.

The municipal facility offers a space at affordable prices for the ones entrepreneurs and people who are looking for a boost to start an activity or business, can do so.

However, the current situation worries the municipal group Popular, which in addition to the fact that there are hardly any companies installed, highlights that there are no requests to obtain a space. And he sees in this situation a “lack of interest on the part of the government team to promote and enhance this much-needed resource.”

“The situation in which the Business Incubator finds itself is repetitive, which is once again just over 50% occupied and with hardly any requests, which is the most worrying thing,” says the Popular spokesperson, Óscar Lillo. He warns that there is only one petition from months ago and “to which we fear that they have not followed through because we do not observe any meeting of the commission in charge of processing them.”

Lillo denounces that “it is difficult to believe in entrepreneurship when companies are waiting four or five months to give an answer, nor is this space being facilitated or promoted so that companies see it as an attractive resource”.

The mayor attacks against the current Councilor for Commerce, Alberto Beviá who criticizes “presumes taking photos on campaign posters whose purpose is not clear to us, since the objective for which they should be destined, which is to facilitate entrepreneurship and the access of companies to these warehouses and offices, is not fulfilled given the level current occupation ”.

“Worrying decline”

Los Populares considers that the facility is in “a worrying decline” and warns that it is a resource that many other cities would like to have. “And the government team does not know or does not want to take advantage of it,” adds Lillo.

The companies that are temporarily installed in the Nursery have a location “but they are not monitored, nor are they given the necessary support, so many of them end up giving up,” the councilor added.

In addition, he attacks the mayor, Jesús Villar, for “looking the other way.” Apparently, Villar does not seem to know what is happening in the Local Development department either, looking the other way as he does with so many others, and that a A resource that San Vicente could be proud of, as it is a powerful Business Incubator, with a Polyfunctional Center that today is practically useless, except for its gardens to serve as parking for vehicles ”, Lillo denounces.

They also request the Councilor for Parks and Gardens, Alberto Beviá, that in addition to photos, go to see in the state of neglect that these landscaped areas are and the use that is being given to them, as it will be little or not attractive for companies that want to locate in the Nursery or use the Center Polyfunctional ”.
