The Consell has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat (DOGV) the decree with the new restrictive measures to try to stop the advance of covid-19 in which the limitation to a maximum of two groups of cohabitants in social and family gatherings of six people it remains as a recommendation.
The President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, announced this Thursday that, starting next Monday, no social gathering may exceed six people and the two coexistence groups. For her part, the vice president, Monica Oltra, has indicated this Friday that this last restriction applies only to the appointed days of Christmas.
However, in the decree published this Friday in a bis edition of the DOGV, the maximum of two cohabitants is referred to as a recommendation. “The permanence of groups of people in spaces for private use will also be conditioned on not exceeding the maximum number of six people, except in the case of cohabitants. In any case, it is recommended that said number no more than two groups of cohabitants are part“, he says.
Sources of the Consell have explained to Europa Press that this Friday morning they have opted, “at the request” of Health and technicians, for include this point as a recommendation. It has been taken into account that the maximum number of people in meetings has already been reduced to six and the “dysfunctions” that could cause the impossibility of making an exhaustive of the coexistence units to which they belong.
Likewise, as the ‘president’ advanced, the new decree nullifies the fourth section of Decree 19/2020, of December 5, of the president of the Generalitat, and, therefore, the limitation of permanence of groups of people in public and private spaces, without distinction of dates, will be conditioned that the maximum of six people is not exceeded, except in the case of cohabitants, without prejudice to the exceptions established with respect to dependencies, facilities and establishments open to the public .
Regarding night mobility, the first article of Decree 14/2020 is modified, so that the limitation to the freedom of movement of people at night will be between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. throughout the Valencian Community.
Likewise, the second section of Decree 19/2020 is modified so that, on the nights of December 24 and 31, 2020, this nighttime restriction is applied from midnight “only to allow the return home”. “In no case will this time extension be used to travel to different social gatherings,” the decree states.
On the other hand, regarding the perimeter closure, the second paragraph of the first section of Decree 19/2020 is left without effect and, therefore, the entry and exit of the Valencian Community is restricted to those adequately justified trips in accordance with the provisions in the second section of Decree 15/2020, of October 30, of the President of the Generalitat, and in the first section, second paragraph, of Decree 16/2020, of November 5.
