ThinkReality VRX

As a world leader in providing intelligent transformation solutions for the enterprise, Lenovo has introduced ThinkReality VRX, a new all-in-one virtual reality headset designed for the corporate world.

ThinkReality VRX works with six or three degrees of freedom content and as a stand-alone device or attached to a PC or workstation to broadcast experiencesiii. They are also capable of utilizing cloud-based rendering solutions such as NVIDIA CloudXR for graphics-intensive RE experiences that require high-end GPU-based performance.

“Our customers are looking for reliable, flexible and adaptable gateways in the growing business metaverse. They need enterprise class solutions for the new realities of working in hybrid contexts and virtual environments. We have designed Lenovo ThinkReality VRX to be the benchmark VR solution for immersive 3D training and collaboration,” said Vishal Shah, General Manager of RE and Metaverse, Lenovo.

The ThinkReality VRX headset incorporates several key design advances that make it more comfortable for in-depth VR sessions in the office, at home, or anywhere hybrid templates are active.

The innovative pancake lenses and slim format reduce the overall profile of the helmet, while the optimal battery position for better weight distribution and balance provides a better fit and feel when worn. The all-in-one VR headset also features materials that are easy to clean between uses.

Lenovo is also collaborating with leading enterprise software vendors, such as ENGAGE XR, a Metaverse communications platform for collaboration, training and education, to create and deliver a Lenovo presence in this environment.

Lenovo’s space on ENGAGE will be an always-on virtual headquarters to showcase our products and solutions, as well as a place to meet and collaborate with partners and customers.

ThinkReality VRX will be available first to select partners in late 2022, with general launch in select global markets scheduled for early 2023.
