Thursday Night Football DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS Lineup Tips for Week 16 49ers-Titans Showdown Tournaments

The Titans host the 49ers in the final installment of the Thursday Night Football season. Both teams are squarely in the playoff mix, so we’re likely poised for a competitive and entertaining event that presents many viable DFS options. We’re paying for a high-priced captain in our week 16 DraftKings matchup lineup, and we got enough value in our flex venues to make some noise. Implementing the zero QB strategy isn’t always a great option, but it seems like the time and place to do it.

These are the important settings for single-game DraftKings contests: Full point PPR, and here they are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, Y 100 receiving yards. The Captain’s pick costs 1.5 times the player’s original price, but also gets his total points multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: 49ers vs. Titans

$ 50,000 budget, at least one player from each team is needed.

Captain (1.5x salary, 1.5x points): TE George Kittle, 49ers ($ 16,800)

Kittle was a bit more under control against the Falcons last week after a couple of dominating performances. Still, he averaged 11 goals per game in his last three and exploded for 95 DraftKings points in that span.

FLEX: WR Deebo Samuel, 49ers ($ 11,600)

The 49ers have treated Samuel a bit like Cordarrelle Patterson in recent weeks. He has only seen 12 goals in his last four games, but he has 28 carries in that span. He’s also been scoring touchdowns on the ground, so he’s still making the most of his opportunities.

FLEX: RB D’Onta Foreman, Titans ($ 7,600)

Foreman has been a solid producer since he emerged as a leader in Tennessee. He has scored at least 14.2 DK points in three straight games, including a season-high 18.5 points last week. He’s not a big factor in the passing game, but he has had a couple of receptions in each of the last two games. He also earned the three-point bonus for outshining 100 yards in two of the last three, so there are a few different avenues through which Foreman can rack up points.

WEEK 16 STANDARD RATINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

FLEX: WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Titans ($ 5,400)

The Titans may welcome wide receiver AJ Brown (chest) back into the fold this week, but he’s unlikely to be at full throttle. Westbrook-Ikhine hasn’t been spectacular, but he has seen 24 goals in his last four games, a stretch in which he also scored a touchdown and eclipsed 100 yards on separate occasions.

WEEK 16 PPR RANKINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

FLEX: RB Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers ($ 5,200)

Wilson scored 22.9 DK points last Sunday in place of Elijah Mitchell (knee), who has been out of practice this week. If Wilson gets another start, he’ll be in a position to produce another decent performance from DK.

FLEX: RB Dontrell Hilliard, Titans ($ 2,800)

Hilliard has been a solid complement to Foreman outside of the Titans’ backfield. He has been successful on the ground (12-131-1 in week 12) and through the air (10 targets in week 11). There should be enough touches for Hilliard to produce another solid effort.
