Today’s College Football Schedule: TV Channels, Start Times for Each Top 25 Game of Week 8

If week 7 represented a hiatus in action among the top 25 teams, then week 8 is a full crawl.

Six teams in the top 25 – No. 1 Georgia, No. 9 Michigan State, No. 11 Iowa, No. 15 Kentucky, No. 19 Auburn and No. 20 Baylor – are out this week. And none of the remaining 19 teams in the top 25 face off.

It’s a weekend slate that seems free of controversy or chaos, but this season has proven time and again that rankings mean nothing when the clock hits zero.

PLUS: Watch select NCAA soccer games live on fuboTV (7-day trial)

And it’s not like there aren’t any interesting games to watch: Two top-10 teams at No. 8 Oklahoma State and No. 10 Oregon are favorites against unranked opponents at Iowa State and UCLA, respectively. And Clemson, ranked outside of the top 25, is a 3 1/2 point underdog to No. 23 Pitt and quarterback Kenny Pickett. The last time the Swinney Tigers were underdog was in 2016, when they beat future Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson and Louisville 42-36.

Some rivalries also take place in Week 8: USC will look to ruin the hopes of No. 13 from Notre Dame in the college football playoffs in South Bend, Indiana; LSU, moving from coach Ed Orgeron, will seek a second straight top 25 win in as many weeks over No. 12 Ole Miss; and Tennessee, who just dropped everything on the field against the Rebels (literally) will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to take the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide.

Sporting News has you covered on how to watch all those games and more in Week 8. With that, here’s everything you need to know to tune in:
