A Freedom Hymn for Father’s Day
Today we celebrate at once Father’s Day, which is the third Sunday of June, and Juneteenth, which is June 19. The moon in the sea of Pisces recalls the hymn by brothers James Weldon Johnson and J. Rosemond Johnson: “Let our rejoicing rise / High as the listening skies/ Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.”
