Tornado hit Kingston, Oklahoma around 6:45 pm Monday

TOWARDS CALVIN ACROSS HUGHES COUNTY. OTHERWISE WHERE IT REALLY ALL THE BAD WEATHERAS H BEEN THIS EVENING IS OUT ACROSS SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA’S GOT THE FIELD METEOROLOGIST MICHAEL ARMSTRONG A STORM COMMAND IN KINGSTON, OKLAHOMA MICHAEL THE LAST TIME A TORNADO WENT THROUGH KINGSTON WAS BACK IN THE EARLY 1990S. HERE. WE ARE NOW DEALING WITH THE DAMAGING TORNADO TONIGHT. GIVE US AN UPDATE MICHAEL WITH WHAT YOU’RE SEEING. OKAY, DAMON, OR MAYBE A LITTLE BIT TOUGH TO SEE HERE IN THE DARK, BUT I’VE GOT MY NIGHT VISION ON THAT’S A SHED RIGHT THERE IN THE LEFT SIDE OF IT RIGHT IN THERE IS DAMAGED. WE TALKED TO THE GENTLEMAN WHO OWNED THIS. I HAVE CURRENTLY HAD JUST BOUGHTEN A TRAIT. THEY JUST BOUGHT A TRAILER RECENTLY. I MEAN LIKE I THINK WITHIN THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS YOU’RE GONNA HEAR FROM HIM COMING UP TONIGHT LATER ON IN OUR NEWSCAST, BUT HE HAD HEARD THE WARNING BASED ON THE NEWS. He WAS ABLE TO TAKE SHELTER AND HE WAS OKAY AND THAT’S GENERALLY BEEN WE’VE BEEN HEARING NOW. THERE’S A LOT OF TREES DOWN A LOT OF ISSUES. I’M GONNA GO I’M GONNA SHOW YOU THE OTHER ISSUE. WE’VE SEEN A LOT OF RIGHT HERE. LOOK AT THAT POWER POLE RIGHT THERE JUST SNAPPED OFF AND YOU SEE THE POWER LINES THAT WERE ATTACHED TO IT. MOST OF THE POWER IS OUT. IT’S ALL DARK IN THIS AREA. BUT AGAIN, WE HAVE OUR DO HAVE OUR 360 CAM THAT’S GOT THEIR NIGHT VISION ON IT SO YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS WAS AN RV AGAIN EARLIER THAT WE THOUGHT WE SHOWED YOU THAT WHERE THE THE ROOF HAD COLLAPSE DOWN ON IT AND THERE’S JUST THERE’S JUST REMOVE A BIT OF DAMAGE ALL THROUGH THIS AREA ALONG HIGHWAY 70. WE ARE HEARING REPORTS OF DAMAGE IN OTHER AREAS AS OF RIGHT NOW. THIS IS JUST A PRELIMINARY REPORT OF TWO INJURIES. THAT’S JUST IN THIS PARTICULAR AREA. THAT WAS FROM KINGSTON AND MADILL FIRE DEPARTMENT. WE HAVE SEEN A NUMBER OF EMERGENCY CREWS AND AMBULANCES RUNNING CODE MEANING THEIR LIGHTS AND SIRENS ARE ON AND THEY’VE BEEN DRIVING THROUGH THIS AREA. SO THEY’RE VERY WELL COULD BE MORE INJURIES ALONG THIS. DAMON I’M ESTIMATING THAT THIS TORNADO WAS ABOUT A QUARTER OF A MILE WIDE. I HAVEN’T ACTUALLY DRIVEN IT YET MARKED IT OUT, BUT THAT’S JUST BASED ON VISUAL FROM WHAT IT WAS WHENEVER WE FIRST CAME INTO THE DAMAGE TO WHERE WE’RE SITTING RIGHT NOW ABOUT A QUARTER OF A MILE WIDE PRETTY SUBSTANTIAL TORNADO THAT ROLLED THROUGH JUST TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF KINGSTON EARLIER TONIGHT. WELL AND MICHAEL SOME OF THE REPORTS THAT WERE ALSO GETTING HERE IN THE NEWSROOM IS THAT THERE’S ALSO QUITE A BIT OF DAMAGE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAKE TEXOMA IN TEXAS, SO THIS TORNADO VERY WELL COULD’VE BEEN ON THE GROUND FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND TH
