Ukraine claims Russian troops have failed in all their overnight advances

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported earlier this Thursday that “the occupying forces” have failed in almost all the areas in which they advanced and have chosen to bomb overnight residential areas in the country’s big cities. Specifically, in their daily report, they have explained that Russian forces continue to try to cross Volhynia, which borders Belarus to the north, while they are carrying out offensive operations in Kozarovichi, Vishhorod, Fastiv and Obujiv. “Increased deployment of logistics camps on the ground was observed in the Borodianka, Katiuzhanka and Gavronshchyna districts. In the northern direction, the Russian occupiers are unsuccessful in the Ukrainian cities of Chernigov, Nezhin and Sumy, Lebedin and Okhtirka”, have said on his official Facebook profile.

Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have said that the Russian forces would be trying to reach the northern outskirts of Kiev, although “they have lost combat abilityis regrouping and trying to attack in the direction of Brovary”. They have also confirmed that they would be carrying out military operations in the areas of Zolochov, Kharkov and Balakleya, as well as continuing in the direction of Lozova. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have highlighted, furthermore, that “efforts continue” by Russia to reach the outskirts of Zaporizhia and Mariupol, entering through Novoaidar and Volnovakha.

“The enemy did not achieve the main objective of capturing Mariupol and reach the administrative border of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. At the direction of Tavriya, he does not give up attempts to carry out an offensive operation.
