Univision. León Krauze is appointed presenter of the national television network and joins Patricia Janiot


Univision continues to make key appointments to strengthen its news division. For this reason, today through an official press release Univision made public the announcement that León Krauze will join his list of acclaimed top-tier journalists, and the public will be able to see him starting this coming January 24, 2022.

It is known that Krauze will be co-anchor of the nightly news. “Noticiero Univision Night Edition”, with the journalist Patricia Janiot. León Krauze has so far served as the main presenter on KMEX Univision 34 in Los Angeles, the No.1 local news station in the market regardless of language.

He held the Wallis Annenberg Chair in Journalism at the University of Southern California (USC) for two years and is now a senior fellow at USC’s Center for Communication Policy and Leadership.

Achievements include: nine Emmy Awards, two Golden Mics, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and the Los Angeles Press Club’s Southern California Journalism Award.
