Valencia come back from a crazy derby and leave Levante sunk

Valencia won the derby against Levante in the Ciutat de València after winning 3-4 and after coming back from a 2-0 adverse in a duel in which the Valencians went from less to more and Levante went the other way.

Although Levante went ahead with a 2-0 before minute 25, a goal from Gonçalo Guedes in minute 43 got his team into the game, while in the second half Valencia did not give a choice with two goals from Carlos Soler and another from Guedes himself.

While Valencia achieved its third victory in a row in the League, Levante continues to fatten its disastrous statistics and there are already 26 games without winning those that accumulate.

Levante and Valencia opened the game with intensity, with the locals more involved in the Valencian field but without generating danger against a rival who was waiting behind waiting to hunt down any against.

It was a failure of the Diakhaby with some hands in the area after a VAR review which allowed Levante to open the scoring and although Cillessen guessed the Campaign launch, the Andalusian player himself took advantage of the rejection of the Dutch goal to score.

If Valencia closed the first half with a psychological goal, the second opened with another goal that hurts, this time from a penalty by Carlos Soler and seconds after Dani Gómez Cillessen crashed a ball to the post.

After the draw, the game entered a dizzying phase, without the game having an owner and with both teams hovering around the rival goal.

The game did not give truce and Morales for Levante and Guedes for Valencia starred in the offensive actions of both sides although without the two goalkeepers going through serious difficulties.

Valencia’s approaches began to disturb Cárdenas and after avoiding the third visitor goal from a shot by Guedes, Soler repeated in 72 this time after a great assistance from the Portuguese without the local goal being able to do anything.

Valencia was showing more solidity, with more dangerous arrivals and containing a Levante that was trying desperately but without criteria. Thus, Guedes finished off with another great goal and made effective the siege of his team to the Levantine goal.

In added time Bardhi shortened distances on the scoreboard to leave the result in the final 3-4.

Referee: González Fuertes (Asturian Committee). He showed a yellow card to Pepelu, Morales and Soldado del Levante and Diakhaby, Iranzo and Hélder Costa del Valencia. He expelled the Valencian player for a double yellow card once the game was over
