Warriors vs. Kings: How to watch, schedule, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 3 Quarters

Only one more quarter stands between the Golden State Warriors and the win they were favored to collect going into this night. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Sacramento Kings 96-85.

The Warriors have been led by shooting guard Klay Thompson, who so far has shot 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and has recorded 20 points, five assists and four boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Stephen Curry’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Point guard Davion Mitchell has led the way so far for Sacramento, as he has 23 points and seven assists.

the Kings have lost 88% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this year, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The Sacramento Kings haven’t won a game against the Golden State Warriors since March 25 of last year, but they’ll be looking to end the drought on Thursday. Sacramento might have tired legs after a contest yesterday as they head on the road against Golden State at 10 pm ET Feb. 3 at Chase Center. The Kings aren’t favored, but they just beat the odds in their last matchup, so don’t count them out.

While not quite a landslide, the contest between Sacramento and the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday was still a pretty decisive one as Sacramento wrapped it up with a 112-101 win at home. Power forward Harrison Barnes (19 points), shooting guard Buddy Hield (18 points), and point guard Davion Mitchell (18 points) were the top scorers for Sacramento.

Meanwhile, the Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the San Antonio Spurs 124-120. The victory came about thanks to a strong surge after the third quarter to overcome a 104-89 deficit. Golden State’s shooting guard Jordan Poole looked sharp as he had 31 points and five assists in addition to six rebounds. Poole had some trouble finding his footing against the Houston Rockets on Monday, so this was a step in the right direction.

The Kings are now 19-34 while Golden State sits at 39-13. A pair of defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Sacramento has allowed their opponents to shoot 47.30% from the floor on average, which is the third highest shooting percentage allowed in the league. Golden State’s defense has more to brag about, as they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 42.70%, which places them first in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
