Watch Cavaliers vs. Pelicans: TV channel, live stream info, start time

Through 3 Quarters

The point spread is against the New Orleans Pelicans, but thus far the points are on their side. Sitting on a score of 68-60, they have looked like the better team out there today, but there’s still one more quarter to play.

Center Jaxson Hayes has led the way so far for the Pelicans, as he has 15 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t had any offensive standouts so far with all players held to 14 points or fewer.

This is tied with the least points Cleveland has had yet this year going into the fourth quarter.

What to Know

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven’t won a contest against the New Orleans Pelicans since March 30 of 2018, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Monday. Cleveland is getting right back to it as they host New Orleans at 7 pm ET Jan. 31 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The Cavaliers are out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.

The point spread favored Cleveland on Sunday, but luck did not. They came up short against the Detroit Pistons, falling 115-105. Point guard Darius Garland put forth a good effort for the losing side as he shot 5-for-10 from downtown and finished with 24 points and seven dimes.

Meanwhile, New Orleans came up short against the Boston Celtics this past Saturday, falling 107-97. New Orleans’ defeat came about despite a quality game from point guard Jose Alvarado, who had 19 points.
