What channel are Steelers vs. Titans today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 15 game

The Titans were able to snap a two-game losing streak last week against the Jaguars, allowing them to remain tied for the AFC’s highest record at 9-4. As they battle the Patriots and Chiefs while the Colts remain two games in the AFC South, the Steelers are trying to return to the playoff scene. Pittsburgh’s tie with the Lions looks very costly at the moment, as they sit at 6-6-1, halfway through the seventh seed in the AFC.

It’s a scrum there right now, with the Browns and Bengals also at 7-6 along with the Broncos and Bills. The Bills currently have that No. 7 seed, which makes them the team to catch. The Titans, meanwhile, seek to straighten their ship a bit. Even with last week’s decisive 20-0 win, the Patriots and Chiefs seem to be trending much higher right now, and it seems increasingly difficult to keep up with them. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that running back Derrick Henry could return sooner rather than later, but in the meantime Tennessee needs to keep winning games.

The Steelers may have managed to bounce back against the 29-0 Vikings last week, but to no avail in a 36-28 loss in the end. While the Steelers offense was working, the defense continued to fight. In fact, the Steelers defense has been a glaring problem since their tie with the Lions. The Titans offense needs to be kept in check, at least initially, so the Steelers can try to gain some ground.

In the end, this game means very different things to these teams. For the Titans, it’s an opportunity to shore up the seed while maintaining a good pace ahead of the Colts. For the Steelers, however, it could be a fight for their playoff hopes and one last push to avoid their first season with fewer than 8 wins since 2003. While the Titans are favorites by two points for now, this could end up being a Low-scoring thing, and that could play directly into the Steelers’ hands.
