On Sunday, February 14, Fox will broadcast NASCAR’s exhibition event, the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. The 63rd edition of the Great American Race will also be the inaugural race of the 2021 NASCAR Cup season.

Fox will provide flag-to-flag coverage of the 63rd Daytona 500. The network is entering its 21st season covering the NASCAR Cup Series, and this year’s race will be Fox Sports’ 18th.

The race will be convened by broadcaster Mike Joy and analysts Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer and Larry McReynolds. This will be No. 42 of Joy’s Daytona 500, featuring her work on radio and television. Bowyer is in his first season on the Fox booth after retiring from racing full time last year.

The network will employ three pit reporters: Jamie Little, Regan Smith and Vince Welch.

The “NASCAR RaceDay” pre-race show will begin on FS1 at 11 am ET and then move to Fox at 1 pm ET. Chris Myers and Shannon Spake will host, while Gordon, Bowyer, McReynolds, Michael Waltrip, Bobby Labonte and Tom Rinaldi will provide additional coverage.

NASCAR lists 2:30 as the race start time, but televised ceremonies before the race will likely delay the fall of the green flag around 3 p.m. ET.
