Every year, INFORMACIÓN organizes the InfoSalud meeting attended by different relevant personalities of the Alicante health sector, with the aim of addressing different current issues or problems in the field of health. The next breakfast-colloquium Health Info will be held on Tuesday, June 29, at 10 hours, and will revolve around the current situation of “The health system in Spain in the post covid-19 era”.

Annually, this event is attended by: by invitation, representatives of the main companies related to this sector from the province. For health professionals, this meeting represents a perfect opportunity to network, know different points of view and expand knowledge. Guests to the event must confirm your attendance before June 28.

On this occasion, the event will be held in person where guests can listen to the presentation while enjoying a small aperitif. However, this year, as a novelty, also there will be a live broadcast of the event open to the general public, which can be viewed here.

A benchmark in health

During the session, you will intervene Juan Abarca, President of the Foundation Institute for the Development and Integration of Health (IDIS). After more than 20 years of experience in the world of medicine and a track record at the head of hospital management, Abarca will give the keys that will define the Spanish health system in the post-covid-19 era.

Juan Abarca is Bachelor of Medicine and Law, as well as Doctor Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery. In addition, he is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine. During his professional career, Abarca has received numerous awards among which stand out the Cross for Police Merit with white badge, the Santa Isabel Award for the management of the pandemic and its communication, and President of the Year 2020 Award, among others.

Likewise, in the health field, Juan Abarca has held positions as relevant as the member of the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Health or that of Vice President of the Spanish Association of Health Law. He is currently in charge of the presidency of the IDIS Foundation and the leading University Hospital Group in research, teaching and technology, HM Hospitales.

At the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to participate in a debate moderated by Toni Cabot, director of Club INFORMATION, in which they will be able to convey to the speaker all their doubts and suggestions to face the health system in Spain in the post-covid-19 era. The approximate duration of the event will be an hour and a half.
