When is the next Manningcast? Full TV schedule for ‘Monday Night Football’ after week 8

The Manning brothers will be back on the ESPN airwaves in Week 8.

“Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” will air for the second consecutive week and fifth time overall this season. Peyton and Eli Manning are scheduled to air 10 of 17 “Monday Night Football” games this year, so while the Manning will be in abundance, there will also be an occasional multi-week absence.

Will there be one of those coming soon? ESPN and the Manning have yet to announce the ManningCast schedule beyond Week 8, so things are still fluid. Perhaps all parties are discussing which games would be best during which to have an alternate stream.

When is Manning’s next broadcast after week 8? Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Manning MegaCast in 2021 and why ESPN chose to debut the show this season.

When is Manning’s next broadcast?

Peyton and Eli Manning are streaming the Chiefs vs. Giants on ESPN airwaves in Week 8. It will be their fifth broadcast of the season; they have an agreement to produce 10 total broadcasts for ESPN during the season.

As such, viewers can expect to see the Manning brothers together again on ESPN from weeks 9-17 of the NFL season (there is no “Monday Night Football” in week 18).

That said, the schedule for “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” has not been fully disclosed. The duo will likely announce their next broadcast date at the end of the Week 8 MegaCast, if not earlier.

IYER: Why ESPN’s Manning broadcast is the only correct way to watch ‘MNF’

Why Peyton and Eli Manning are on ‘Monday Night Football’

ESPN announced that Peyton and Eli Manning would be joining “Monday Night Football” on July 19, 2021. They were not selected to join the actual booth, but signed for “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli.”

“Offering multiple Monday Night Football viewing options over the next three seasons continues our innovation efforts and provides additional value for our fans,” ESPN President and Sports Content Jimmy Pitaro said in a press release. “Peyton and Eli will bring a different approach, deepening the conversation on larger and larger topics and at the same time perfecting the game, just like fans do when they watch with family and friends.”

The deal was seen as a big problem for ESPN. Peyton Manning had refused to host “Monday Night Football” for several years due to travel and did not want to criticize Eli during his playing career. However, Manning Senior has produced several shows on ESPN, including “Peyton’s Places and“ Detail. ”So a step into the broadcast booth, albeit from the comfort of his home, seemed logical.

“This partnership with ESPN and The Walt Disney Company reflects an ongoing and shared commitment to providing fans with fun and innovative content,” Peyton Manning said in a press release. “ESPN + has been an excellent partner for Omaha Productions [Manning’s production company] as we build The Places franchise and we are excited to co-create a new MegaCast format that will have something for everyone. “

The MegaCast has been a huge success so far, and fans love the casual comments from the Manning brothers and guests they have brought to the stream. It has served as a solid foil for traditional broadcast gear, serving as the only display option when the Manning’s are not producing a broadcast.
