Woman who planned with her lover murder of pastor in Oklahoma confessed that she wanted her husband dead

The woman who together with her lover planned the murder of her husband, a pastor from Oklahoma, would have confessed to his daughter the crime after it was committed.

Kristie Dawnell Evans, 47, was charged with Kahlil Deamie Square, 26, of planning and executing the murder. in the couple’s own house and with the victim’s gun.

Both have been in the custody of authorities since last Thursday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

The woman and Square face charges in the shooting death of David Evans, 50, on March 22, at the residence of the “religious” couple.

Defendant got tired of alleged emotional abuse of the pastor

Kristie would have conspired with Square, with whom she had an extramarital relationship, to kill her husband, tired of his verbal and psychological abuse and motivated by the desire for more freedom.

Sexual threesomes in a motel

The husbands and Square had met on more than one occasion at the Super 8 motel for threesomes. It is unclear how they made the first contact for sexual encounters and at whose initiative.

“A couple of months ago was when the three of them met for the first time,” said OSBI Captain Beth Green. “The three of them, Kristie, Kahlil and David, had a sexual relationship. Kristie and Kahlil also had a separate sexual relationship, just the two of them, “added the researcher.

After those encounters, the woman secretly passed her cell phone number to Square and the two had another sex date in early March when the pastor was on a mission or religious trip to Mexico, KFOR reported. It was there that Kristie and her lover planned the murder.

Gunman killed him with the victim’s own weapon

“The plan was for Kahlil to come home in the middle of the night and shoot David with a pistol and ammunition that belonged to David and that Kristie gave Kahlil,” Green said.

The agreement was finalized on March 22 when the lover fatally shot David in the bed of the couple before leaving the scene.

Shortly before 1 a.m., the woman called the Ada Police Department to falsely allege that an intruder had entered the house and shot her husband.

Court documents of the case handled by national media indicate that Kristie told the authorities that she wanted her husband dead because he abused her verbally and psychologically and wanted to control her.

“Krisie gave Kahlil a gun and a box of bullets from David,” an affidavit states.

“Kristie and Kahlil agreed on the approximate time that Kahlil would arrive at the Evans residence to kill David. Kristie left the back door open so Kahlil could enter the residence, ”the document reads.

The suspects were found in the living room where the woman instructed him to proceed with the plan, while she would remain in that part of the house.

Before turning herself in to the authorities, Kristie reportedly told her daughter that she begged Kahlil to kill David and that Kahlil shot and killed David with the victim’s gun.

Kristie is being held at the Pontotoc County Detention Center, while Square, who was arrested in Newalla, was held at the Cleveland County Detention Center.
