World Series: Astros are favorites despite being tied with Braves

The World Series is tied, 1-1, as the two teams (and our excellent writers) take their flights from Houston to Atlanta. However, it does not seem that both teams are on an equal footing.

The Astros have the deepest and most adaptable lineup in baseball. Their ways of beating him range from crushing diners to crushing singles who stare into the eyes of the entire field. Their 7-2 win in Game 2 on Wednesday night included a bit of everything this offense does so well. José Altuve opened the game with a double down the line, advanced to third on a deep fly, and scored on a sacrifice fly. He opened the seventh with a home run to the Crawford Boxes to finish off Houston’s touchdown.
