Let’s start with one of the most important aspects: the cleaning surface. This is directly related to the battery capacity of each model and the possibility of operating without needing a recharge. The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2S can clean surfaces of about 120 m², the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro about 196 m² and the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro raises the cleaning area up to 240 m².
All models use sensors to map our home and thus create the most precise cleaning route. However, not all share the same technology. The S version has the well-known LDS (laser distance sensor) navigation system, while the Pro and Ultra models have a system new generation ldswhich promises to work more efficiently, even in low-light environments.
On the other hand, although the system to detect danger zones and avoid falls is a common feature, only the two most advanced offer the possibility of creating personalized cleaning zones and have the ability to work on multiple floors. Also, as its name indicates, the entire Vacuum Mop 2 range, in addition to vacuuming, you can also mop.
Another point in common throughout the range is its connectivity. As we can see in the file, the devices have WiFi. This feature allows us to remotely control the robot vacuum cleaner from the Mi Home smartphone app. The possibilities would see according to the model but, in general, we can establish a cleaning schedule, see the generated map of our home and configure the restricted areas.
Price and availability
After its international launch, the new range of Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners finally arrives in Spain. The new robot vacuum cleaners will be available for purchase from March 25 on the website of Mi.com, Mi Sotres and Media Markt.
