A new boxing event will take place in June and will be dubbed the “Battle of the Platforms.” Some of YouTube’s biggest stars are battling TikTok’s biggest stars. There are eight fights in total, including two in the free undercard segment and six in the main event.
The biggest draw is a fight between YouTube’s Austin McBroom and TikTok’s Bryce Hall. McBroom gained fame as the founder of The ACE family on YouTube, a page that has more than 19 million subscribers and 4.2 billion visits. Hall is a popular TikTok creator with 19.9 million followers on the platform.
This is the biggest event of the night given the history between the two content creators. McBroom challenged Hall to a fight in December 2020. Things escalated in March 2021 when Shared texts hall between the two and McBroom said that Hall was “too scared to fight. “Just five days after that exchange, an official fight was announced.

The YouTube vs. TikTok boxing undercard takes place on Saturday, June 12, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. However, viewers will have to wait quite a while before the McBroom vs. Hall. There are eight fights in total, six in the main event. Additionally, there will be a series of musical performances from DJ Khaled, Lil Baby, Migos, Trippie Redd, and more.

The main event. Hall and McBroom have some history with each other after McBroom called Hall in a since deleted Instagram post in late 2020.The two exchanged a few tweets on Twitter in March and a few days later the fight was announced.
AnEsonGib vs. Tayler Holder
We’ve seen AnEsonGib fight before when he suffered an embarrassing TKO to Jake Paul in the first round in 2020. AnEsonGib is looking to bounce back from that ugly loss in a fight against TikTok’s Tayler Holder. In a video posted before the fight, Holder had some concerns about the weight disparity, saying he weighs 165 pounds while AnEsonGib weighs closer to 190-195 pounds (per Holder).
Deji vs. Vinnie Hacker
KSI’s brother Deji also lost to Jake Paul, although it was before Paul became a professional boxer. Deji will face off against Vinnie Hacker, a TikTok star who has 7.2 million followers on the platform. We’ll see if Deji’s boxing experience plays a role in this fight.
DDG vs. Nate Wyatt
Both DDG and Nate Wyatt are musicians, which gives this fight a theme. Although neither have any apparent problems with each other. DDG said, however, that he plans to go for a knockout against Wyatt.
FaZe Jarvis vs. Michael Le
FaZe Jarvis is a member of the FaZe Clan. He gained popularity playing the Fortnite game, but was banned from playing the game after being caught aimbotting in Fortnite. Le is a popular dancer on TikTok, with 48.5 million followers, which is the 11th most on the platform.

As you can probably tell from the last name, Landon McBroom is the brother of Austin McBroom, who is fighting in the main event. He will take on Ben Azelart, who is technically in the TikTok category, but is a successful YouTuber with over 1 billion views on his main channel.
Ryan Johnston vs. Cale Saurage
There are more family connections here as Ryan Johnston is the brother of Catherine Paiz, who is married to Austin McBroom. He will fight TikTok star Cale Saurage in this undercard fight.
